The Effect Network celebrated its three year anniversary on 15th November at the General Offices, Ebbw Vale.
The event focused on the exciting new developments both locally and regionally and what it meant for businesses in Blaenau Gwent.
Mark Langshaw, MBE, Chair of Tech Valleys presented on the transition from Ebbw Vale Enterprise Zone to Tech Valleys.
Richard Crook, Corporate DIrector of Regeneration & Community Services at Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council provided an overview of the £1.28 Billion Cardiff City Region Programme, and gave an overview of the support available to businesses from the Council's Economic Development Unit.
Guests were shown a video of the inaugural Blaenau Gwent Business Awards 2018 and Lawrence Watts of Performance Master Batches explained to the audience how winning at the Awards helped the company.
The Business Support Zone was supported by the Council's Economic Development and Aspire teams, Business Wales, Coleg Gwent, Credit Union and Coleg Gwent Business
Nearly 100 guests attended the event and feedback was extremely positive by the many businesses who stayed for the informal networking.
