Despite the ongoing difficulties that many businesses are facing due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are pleased to confirm that the BG Effect Fund is still available for those thinking of starting up their own business in Blaenau Gwent.
A BG Effect Grant was recently awarded to NVO Admin and Accounts Hub Ltd who are based in Brynmawr and offer virtual business accounts and administrative services to local businesses in the area. Natasha Owen who has started the business said;
“I applied for the BG Effect Grant in May and was surprised at how quick the application was. The grant has helped my business so much as I was able to buy computers and the necessary equipment ready to build my business and help clients efficiently. I am a VA (Virtual Assistant) who provides admin & bookkeeping services as well as other roles to local businesses from start-ups to fully established businesses. This week I was also able to launch a 1:1 Bookkeeping training sessions aimed particularly at start-ups and business owners who have been affected by Covid-19 so they can do their own bookkeeping to keep their expenses down. I am also helping local businesses with the transition back to work during and after Covid-19.”
