We’re pleased to offer an opportunity to take part in a fully funded one-day online Carbon and Climate Essentials training session, delivered by Cynnal Cymru.
Carbon and Climate Essentials Course
Build your understanding of climate change and explore the role we can all play in creating a more sustainable future. Through a mix of presentations, breakout room discussions, and interactive activities, participants will explore:
• Climate Change: Introduction and Overview – Understanding the basics and why climate change matters.
• Climate Science and Interaction – Exploring the science behind climate change and its impacts.
• Global to Local Policy: Why It Matters – Connecting international agreements and national policies to local action.
• Climate Justice and the Cost of Living – Understanding how climate change affects different communities and the links to social and economic challenges.
• Taking Action: What Can We Do? – Identifying practical actions individuals, teams, and organisations can take to make a difference.
The course encourages open discussion, knowledge sharing, and practical learning, helping participants gain confidence in understanding climate issues and communicating them effectively with colleagues, partners, and communities.
