Wisdom Wednesday is a weekly advice session at Goldworks, where an expert in a select field, bases themselves in the coworking space for the day; with the caveat that you: our members and local businesses, are able to book advice sessions with them throughout the day.

BGCBC’s Aspire team are at Goldworks to provide tailored guidance for both individuals seeking apprenticeship opportunities and businesses looking to host apprentices. They offer expert advice on how apprenticeships can meet workforce needs, navigate recruitment and training pathways, and ensure mutual benefits for employers and apprentices alike.

Aspire's dynamic Shared Apprenticeship Programme is designed to support local businesses in the manufacturing and engineering sectors, by employing apprentices and placing them with host companies. Aspire helps bridge skills gaps, foster workforce development, and drive business growth. This initiative not only addresses skills shortages but also provides young people with meaningful career opportunities. 

This event is exclusively for Blaenau Gwent businesses and/or CURRENT Goldworks members.
