Wisdom Wednesday is a weekly advice session at Goldworks, where an expert in a select field, bases themselves in the coworking space for the day; with the caveat that you: our members and local businesses, are able to book advice sessions with them throughout the day.

Emma Richards has spent over 27 years at the Intellectual Property Office, supporting thousands of businesses, especially SMEs, in understanding and protecting their ideas through patents, trade marks, designs and copyright. She’s known for making IP straightforward and practical, helping businesses use it confidently as part of their growth.

In her role as Regional Policy Advisor, Emma works closely with partners across the UK to shape IP policy and deliver clear, accessible support to businesses navigating innovation. She’ll be bringing this expertise to Wisdom Wednesday through free one-to-one advice sessions.
