Wisdom Wednesday: Cyber Resilience

Date of event: 01.07.26
Time of event: 10:00 - 16:00

Goldworks, Mill Lane, Ebbw Vale, NP236GR

Wisdom Wednesday is a weekly advice session at Goldworks, where an expert in a select field, bases themselves in the coworking space for the day; with the caveat that you: our members and local businesses, are able to book advice sessions with them throughout the day.

Are you a business owner concerned about cyber threats, data protection, or whether your current systems are secure enough? Join Cyber Resilience Wales for a free cyber security advice session designed to help local businesses strengthen their digital defences with clear, practical guidance.

Led by experts supported by UK policing and delivered in partnership with trusted Welsh universities, Cyber Resilience Wales offers accessible, jargon-free advice on issues that affect businesses every day, including:

- Understanding common cyber threats facing SMEs

- Protecting customer and business data

- Reducing the risk of phishing, ransomware and online fraud

- Improving staff awareness and cyber hygiene

- Assessing whether your current systems and practices are “good enough”

- Practical, affordable steps to improve cyber resilience

Whether you’re a start-up, an established business, or simply want reassurance that you’re doing the right things to protect your organisation, this session is an opportunity to get trusted, real-world cyber security advice that helps keep your business safe, compliant and resilient.

N.B. This is a drop-in session that you attend of your own accord. You take or act on any advice given, of your own volition. Goldworks cannot take any responsibility of the content of this session or your resulting actions.
