The Business Development Grant is funded through the Local Growth Fund (LGF) and administered by Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council. The scheme provides targeted capital investment to support established businesses to improve productivity, competitiveness, innovation and growth. It forms part of a structured business support pathway designed to help businesses scale, create employment opportunities and strengthen the local economy.
Eligible Applicants
Applicants must:
- Be based within Blaenau Gwent or committing to relocate into the County Borough.
- Be actively trading.
- Operate on a full-time commercial basis.
- Demonstrate financial viability.
- Demonstrate the ability to deliver the proposed project.

- Social Enterprises
- Charities undertaking commercial activities
