ChatGPT Explained is a beginner-friendly workshop designed for people who are curious about AI but haven’t really used it yet. Whether you’ve opened ChatGPT once and didn’t know what to type, or you’ve never tried it at all, this session will guide you through how it works and how to use it with confidence.
Led by Klaire Tanner (She/They), this practical session introduces what ChatGPT can actually do, from writing and planning to organising and idea generation — and how to use it responsibly, creatively, and effectively in your work or projects.
What we’ll cover:
What ChatGPT is, and what it isn’t
Everyday ways it can support your work or workflow
How to ask better questions to get better results
Key considerations around ethics, privacy, and safe use.
Outcomes:
You’ll leave with a better understanding of how to use ChatGPT, practical tools to start exploring it yourself, and ideas for how AI can support your work, wherever you're starting from.
