Barriers to Start-up Grant for 25-year-olds and over

A grant of up to £2,000 is available to enable economically inactive and unemployed individuals aged 25 and over to start up a business and will particularly target individuals that are facing barriers to business start-up and the employment market.

Young Persons Start up grant

The grant will enable young people under the age of 25 not in education, employment or training to start their own business, create a social enterprise, become self-employed, a freelancer or social entrepreneur in Wales.

Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council and its partners are proud to present the winners of the Blaenau Gwent Business Awards 2020.  This year’s event took place via a virtual ceremony.  The awards aim to recognise the achievements of the entrepreneurial individuals and Small Medium Enterprise (SME’s) based in Blaenau Gwent.
