Employers Survey: Have Your Say - Childcare Sufficiency Assessment (CSA) 2027

Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council is currently undertaking the Childcare Sufficiency Assessment (CSA) 2027. The Childcare Sufficiency Assessment (CSA) is a statutory assessment that local authorities must undertake to understand the supply and demand for childcare across the county borough and identify any gaps in provision. It helps ensure there is sufficient, sustainable and flexible childcare available to support parents to work, train or study. The guidance specifically highlights the importance of engaging with employers and employer organisations as part of the assessment process. We are keen to gather employers' perspectives on issues such as recruitment, staff retention, working patterns and any childcare barriers that employees may face. Feedback from employers will help us to better understand local childcare needs and support the development of future childcare provision and services.
